Do I need to enable versioning for Object Lock?
Yes. Versioning must be enabled; Object Lock must be configured at bucket creation.

Pick the closest region to your compute or required data residency.
Can I bring my own keys (KMS)?
When enabled, Aurora encrypts data at rest. For customer-managed keys, contact support.
